RESOURCES

Throughout the school year, you will have access to resources that either enhance communication with the teacher, school, and district or enhance students' knowledge or mastery of topics and language introduced in the “English as a Second Language (ESL)” classroom (p. 81).¹

Extend English learning at home through internet resources to practice vocabulary and language structures, check class performance, and find activities and tips for home language literacy. Stay up-to-date on current events at Hillcrest Elementary and the school district on apps and websites. In the event of distance or virtual learning, continue ESL support outside of the school with paper and digital tasks.

Note: This website will be updated periodically throughout the 2020-2021 school year to reflect the updated curriculum based on changing circumstances for in-school and distance learning needs.
