THE TEACHER
My name is Ms. Mairead Shaffield and I am a teacher of English as a Second Language (ESL) at Hillcrest Elementary School. I have lived in many parts of the United States and enjoy art and learning languages. My credentials include degrees in a Master of Arts in Education in English as a Second Language (ESL) and a Bachelor of Arts in Design, Technology and Innovation and Spanish Language. I look forward to teaching Hillcrest's English learners and helping them develop their listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities in English for social and academic purposes.
